Tom Oslovar

Tom is a technology transactions lawyer with more than a decade of experience counseling clients in Silicon Valley and throughout the United States. Before joining Tech Law Partners, he practiced in the technology transactions and M&A groups at O'Melveny & Myers.

Tom advises founders, investors, in-house legal teams, and boards of directors on technology development and commercialization for a wide range of industries, including IoT, fintech, blockchain, AI, social media, cryptocurrency, open source software, big data, consumer devices, semiconductors, and robotics.

Tom drafts and negotiates patent and trademark licenses and transfers, software licenses for both SaaS and on-premises deployments, joint venture and development agreements, services agreements, and supply agreements. He also advises clients on the IP aspects of venture capital investments and M&A deals ranging in value from $1 million to $69 billion.

Super Lawyers selected Tom as a Rising Star from 2019 to 2022. Tom has a B.A. in History (summa cum laude) from Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, California, and a J.D.
