Mike Okada
Mike is an experienced legal executive with a focus on complex IP-related transactions, developing scalable business models and international business transactions. He brings over 30 years of technology transactions experience.
Mike was the General Counsel of Immersion Corporation (Nasdaq: IMMR), which focused on the development and licensing of haptics-related technologies. Before that, Mike was VP, IP Transactions and Legal Affairs of Dolby Laboratories. He led its legal team supporting the audio and imaging technology licensing businesses and architected Dolby’s agreement frameworks for technology licensing across all of its consumer markets. Previously a partner at Wilson Sonsini, his practice included licensing, commercial transactions, M&A, start-ups, and IPOs. Mike also worked at Yamashita and Ohshima, a Japanese law firm in Tokyo.
