Tim French
Tim specializes in representing emerging growth technology companies (and their founders and investors) at all stages of a company's growth cycle on corporate, commercial and business matters, including corporate formation, financings, acquisitions, strategic partnerships and technology transactions. He brings over 20 years of legal experience.
Prior to joining Tech Law Partners, Tim was a corporate attorney with Seubert French Frimel and Warner, a boutique corporate law firm. Prior to that, Tim served as the Director of Legal for Illumio, a cybersecurity software company. And prior to that, Tim practiced in the corporate and securities groups at Latham & Watkins and Davis Polk & Wardwell.
Tim received his J.D. from the U.C. Berkeley School of Law, and received the Thelen, Marrin Prize for graduating first in his law school graduating class. Tim also received his B.A. from U.C. Berkeley.
